Hello,

I have to develop an application on a x50v. So I bought Boling's book (Programming Windows CE .NET, 3rd edition) and installed eVB C++ 4.0 with CE 4.0 SDK, plus SP1 and SP2.
When I try to compile ans test on the PDA, I have an error saying the application won't run on ARM SA1100 CPU.
So where can I find a SDK to install what's necessary in order to compile for SA1100 and then test apps on the x50v ?

Thanks in advance to all, I searched the Net for a long time and didn't find any clue

I am using .Net to develop for the X50v so i might not be the best helo you can get here.

Have u tried going throught the project settings to make sure u compile for the right type of CPU? That are things you don`t have to worry much in .Net but i think that could be a possible problem in eVC++...

Mke sure that you're compiling it for an ARM or ARMv4 processor. I think I remember the default setting being something different, but it should have ARM or ARMv4 that you can choose on the dropdown list on the toolbar. The Xscale processors are completely ARM-compliant, so this is the choice to use.
