Web server: Sweet PHP Apps..

Well, I am running a webserver... Apache, MySQL, and PHP on os/x tiger. Right now I have a standard HTML Index page ( boring ) that links to my PHP Gallery. I was thinking I should get my index page set up as PHP... i have used PHP nuke and I dont have much of a problem with it, but is there any other cool PHP app like PhpNuke ( besides PostNuke ) that has a function similar to blogging and allows image posts on the front page and also ties in with PHP Gallery... any suggestions appreciated! Thanks!

But uh... quick question, I messed up something. My gallery is giving me "Error: Your Userfile is not writeable" whenever I try to access it, I messed up permissions somewhere when installing PHPnuke to try it out and see if I will like it much... I tried to change permissions to "chmod 777 gallery" to see if I could get it working.. but no go... can someone help herE? .. thanks.. grr i keep causing myself problems.

I thought Mambo was leagues easier to install. I use coppermine photo gallery, which is a php gallery - very easy to install as well. For bloggers, check out Wordpress or Movable Type. These are all free for personal use and php based.

one thing about mambo is that it needs a fast server, pages can take a long time to load if the server is not fast enough....
