Help Me Please! I sleep right through my Alarm clock's alarm. What can i do?

okay this has been happening for like the past 2 weeks. I sleep right through my alarm clocks alarm. I have tried everything, I bought a new alarm clock with a different sounding alarm, i have tried sleeping more, volume full blast next to my ear, nothing works and i sleep right through it(the alarm lasts for 1 hour i think).

my roomie is getting really really pissed at me and this is annoying me too.

I have no idea what to do?

oh and i also tried to look on webmd and googled it, Nothing.

A radio alarm clock with the volume turned up to 11?

on a serious note: Get you vitamins and try to sleep for full sleep cycles.
for instance - it's better to sleep 6 hours then 7 because in this case you will probably wake up after compliting a full sleep cycle and not in the middle of it. I would even exaggerate and say it is better to sleep for 3 hours than for 7
(A normal human sleep cycle lasts for 90-100 min )

Edit: If you don't sleep right , even a cannon firing by your bad isn't going to help...

Use your PPC's notification apps and look for something annoying rather than loud for an alarm to use. Of course you have to keep it out of arm reach distance though.

Connect an electric relay to the speaker on your alarm and wire this to a taser that is taped to you. - If that doesn't work then I'm out off suggestions.

Seriously though - use your mobile phone - its bound to have an alarm function - you're brain recognises it as something that requires answering!

I posted my 12 gauge double barrel shotgun alarm on brighthand and Pocket PC Passion but alas the internet is ethereal. <sighs> The souce was one of "The Evil Dead" movies but I left out Bruce Campbell's voice.

I bet you could probably find something annoying from his Jack of All Trades TV series.

Are you going to sleep at the same time nightly? Various things can affect sleep like What you eat or drink. And besides, if you are not wetting the bed during these periods, you are fairly well off. I do know for a fact that if you tell yourself to get up at a certain time, you probably will. It has worked for me and others for years. I have not used an alarm clock for several years.

Set up a scheduled task on your PC to play your favorite music.
Turn up the volume as high as it goes.
If it doesn't work, get a better amplifier.
