My new Axim x50 stolen in transit!!!!! >:( A nightmare story.

Well, firstly I'd like to say I'm a new user to PDAs and also new to this site.

Secontly I'd like to rant how crap Dell's customer service is and that if your an Aussie and wanna avoid waiting in the queue system, you can call 1800 261 699 ext 6532 and talk to a real helpful guy.. and he DOES return calls! :approve: or, if your in sydney call 02 8972 5666 ext 6804 and talk to mandy. She can speak english!

Thirdly, my story. Well, I did have this big-ass long rant typed out but some sh*t went down when i pressed submit and i lost it all , but basically when I finally got my package today and opened it up, there was no PDA. everything else was there but no PDA. :realmad:

Upon closer inspection I noticed the internal box's tamper seal was busted and so was the main box's seal.. which i didnt notice earlier. The bottom of the box had been re-taped up and one of the courier's had placed their connote over the tape end.

So after a lot of funking around and bullsh*t Dell (lack-of)Customer service calls, finally got through to someone and talked about the situation.. they informed me that they'd had a few cases like this so far and that they shall investigate.

currently, i'm one VERY VERY VERY pissed off pretend PDA user.

Despair is the feeling that I’m sure has you in its grip. Hopefully knowing that we care and share it with you will lighten the load. I hope a good resolution is in the works for you and that you will be able to enjoy the use of a great PDA soon. Hopefully the content of this site will help pass the time in the meantime.

Hopefully they believe you and send you a replacement. If not contact your credit card company...most times they can help.

Good luck,
Frank

I'm not an Aussie, so please forgive the ignorance. However, I am still a member of the Commonwealth, as as such, thought I knew more than I do. I've never heard the expression "totally pants situation." If there is a clean explanation, would you mind enlightening me? If it's not clean, then I'd rather stay in the dark.
