Yahoo Unlimited Music

has anyone tried it? if you prepay for a year it is 4.99 per month for unlimited music. this sounded pretty stupid when i didnt have a mp3 player but now that i do i love it. i just got my 20gb Dell DJ Gen2 and have already loaded about 6gigs of yahoo music on there. of course the only downside is if i cancel my subscription all the music vanishes.

any thoughts?

so you're really just renting it? If you download the music to your pda it can't just vanish. Or does it vanish on your next sync?

DRM can be beaten...

Download songs.
Download Virtuosa
Set Virtuosa WMA-->MP3 to128 Kbps, 44.1 kHz MP3 encoding.
Depending on your system you can encode 50-100 songs at a time.

try it and find out ;-)

there are a million ways to get past DRM, some take more tyme, but are 100% effective. One such method is burning you DRM'ed music to a virtual cd as an audio track, and then rip it back with an MP3 ripper.... works every tyme with any type of protection... I love when napster gives away free months! LOL

Guys, please don't let this thread turn into a "how to defeat DRM" thread. That's illegal. Even if you don't agree with DRM, please don't use our forums to share ways to get around it.

Thanks.
