Dances with wolves
Braveheart
The last Samurai
The green Mile

re: The Green Mile
i'm a huge Stephen King fan and am usually severely disappointed in his books turned movies... this one surpassed my expectations :approve:

My real age is in my profile. Yes, I most definatly remember "Moonlighting"!

12 Monkeys is DEFINATLY one for the list!!! Same with 28 Days Later (I **LOVE** post-apocolyptic movies)

The Quiet Earth
Miricle Mile
Resident Evil (I **LOVED** the first one -- I know nothing about the games)
Deep Impact (didn't like Armageddon -- Even though it has Willis in it)
The Day After Tomorrow (I absolutely love this movie -- Hollywood science aside... but the reasons why I love this movie so much actually have nothing to do with the movie itself -- different story)

Dances with wolves was cool
anything with Tom Cruise is crap
I'd say 5th element, but only because of Lilo. Unbreakable was better
Lord of the g-strings. Pure hilarity
Starship Troopers
Ladyhawke, not remarkably accurate, but still enjoyable in a blubbery love story kind of way
The Prophecy

Not easy to answer:

"What we have here ... is a failure to communicate"

[Cool Hand Luke]

My newfies are named Atticus and Boo.

[To Kill a Mockingbird]

"Excuse me while I whip this out"

[Blazing Saddles]

"Now I know why coyotes eat their young"

[Caddie Shack]

And more ...

My real name being "Alex", if I don't recognize a phone number when my phone rings, I'll answer my phone as "Korova Milk Bar, this is Alex."

Either that, or I'll just answer the phone as "Kilgore Trout" (I'm a Vonnegut Jr. fanatic!!!)

Easy one for me... Alone in the Dark

For the longest time it was Tootsie -- all the way until last week when I saw 'Alone in the Dark'. I never even finished the movie.

Bruce C. makes his directorial debut here in boston at the Coolidge Corner Cinema this weekend, Hmmm... I liked him in Hercules, Xena and Jack of all Trades. I wonder if seeing him in person will ruin the vibe.

Back on Topic: My desert island movie would be... To tough to call. ;)

Can't narrow down to one, but some of my favorites (in no particular order):

--Back to the Future trilogy
--Pitch Black
--Office Space
--Pulp Fiction (and most anything else Q.T. has done)
--Meet the Parents / Meet the Fockers
--Star Wars saga
