I'm half way through it. My daughter startred crying (Shes 18) about 2/3 rds of the way through it and things it a great read. I think so far it is good. Better than the Goblet of fire but since I still have a ways to go I may be disapointed at the end.

I need to read the Silmarillon, re-read the Chronicles of Narnia (was in elementary school the last time I read the entire series...need to refresh before the movies), and George RR Martin's next book will be out in a few months...so no time for Harry Potter..

I finshed the Half bllod prince night before last and I thought it was a good read. Yes its different than the others in tone and make up but I was expecting that.
The bad guys turned out like I thought and the character that was killed off was the one I was expecting. My Daughter and I have a hughe running argument going on about who is really evil and who is really just being manipulated. I figured out who the half blood prince was about two thirds of the way through the books. Weather you liked this book or not JKR has certainly set the stage for the Next book being (Hopefully) the climatic conclusion. I would like to see the conclusion be very action oriented and some people really get their just rewards. But she may throw us some curves and I expect she has some really intersting twists in store for the final chapter.

It's in PDF format so essentially I guess it's really NOT an ebook but I have it all the same.

Well of course its worth getting. If you started the series you have to see it through to the finish. Lol.

It was available on the plain old Internet (with a TON of typos) 10 hours after its release.
TXT, PDF, HTM, LIT, take your choice.

A day or two later it started showing up pretty well proof-read.
