Well seems everyone hates windows new name apart from me so i decided to make a poll :approve:
So do you like it and why

Nope I think it's a really dumb name lol. I personally think they should stick with Longhorn it sounded a lot better.

Ah the Vista Crusier, your could practically cruise the Vistas with it.

My Dad likes those, I don't want him getting one, and if he ever did I'd just remove the wood paneling.

The problem with the name is i'm going to spend the next 3 years explaining to people that it went 2000, xp, vista, someotherstupidname, etc...

if it went in some numerical order at least joe public would know what the latest version was!

Is it really gonna affect you that much? It's bad marketing by MS (I don't like the name either) but thats their problem. As long as it works I'm really not bothered what it says on the box.

Yes... I keep having to explain to people that there is no Office98. They are convinced there is because they have windows 98 and it's the same thing

.net was worse as nobody new what it was.

and don't forget we may end up with office vista, visio vista, project vista etc.

Well as psionandy said its quite confusing them not having a number pattern or something xp to vista there is just no connection
