You went to Universal Studios and went on this ride, but you were pi***d off because 'real-life' quality is only slightly better than your GF4 (which is actually a GF2). Have I understood correctly?
|
No you haven't. To start, a GeForce 4 is not a GeForce 2 (OK, maybe a GeForce 2 after a lot of improvement). Second, the attraction is not a ride. It's a stationary attraction. Finally, I was not too disappointed because I already know that modern PCs can render really realistic 3D.

I think it's realy impressive that real life is now being benchmarked.

Please read carefully.

Fear Factor Live is not a benchmark because there really isn't anything to benchmark.
|
Looks like we have some confusion going on. Fear Factor (without the Live) is a video card benchmark. Fear Factor Live is an attraction at Universal Studios.

How is there any technology involved whatsoever? It's just a bunch of randomly selected people being forced to do various things

Once again, Fear Factor Live does *not* involve benchmarking anything. Fear Factor Live and Fear Factor are not the same thing.
