It brings tears to my eyes... Seriously. That was a magical night that's for sure. I was watching the Promised Land DVD and it's just a magically unbelievable event.

Mmmmm...it brings tears to my eyes too...seriously!

Certainly wasn't bad, but I can think of some better minutes in football.

There are none.

Liverpool's win was NOTHING on this one. Sorry Psionandy!

I suggest we have a vote though. Who's recent Champions League victories were the greatest?

Man Utd vs Bayern Munich
Liverpool vs the Italians

You'll have to remind me who Arsenal beat most recently in the CL final. Nothing is springing to mind ;)

They haven't even come in second.

Below the belt! At least we can win some silverware nowadays...

So we're saying Champions League only?

My vote: Liverpool. For me, ManU just have/had no soul. Liverpool's pride and joy at winning leapt out of the TV. I can admire them, even if I don't like them.:)

I've got to agree with you on this one.

I don't think it was the greatest 6 minutes of football, but rather one of the greatest 1 minute mental collapses by any team. B.M. thought they had it won going into extra time and quit playing.

Admittedly it's slightly subjective (6 minutes).

But Martin, you should be happy that at least it was an English team. Even if they did whitewash Arsenal that season from a trophy perspective.

Will probably end up like what he did with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Buy all this talent, win a championship or two, then sell off the parts and make a whole bunch of money, leaving nothing.

Doesn't even come close to the turn-around by Liverpool. I was convinced that there would be 3 goals in the second half.. I just thought that it would be a 6-0 scoreline.

Still... You've got to keep playing till the whistle blows

as to the most popular sport in the world... Does Fishing come second? Possibly Golf i suppose.

Maybe those american versions of rugby and rounders may make the top 20

(And congrats on the 10K... have fun mowing the lawn)
