I bought something from TigerDirect one time that was an obvious price mistake. Of course, my order was cancelled. I can't get mad at that. Other than that, I haven't had any dealings with them but I have heard the horror stories.

Tiger Direct ripped me off by sending an OEM version of an AMD 3200 processor. I ordered AND paid for retail box. They changed their web page showing the OEM version to be the same price as retail !!! I caught them at that because I had a 'screenshot' of the page I ordered the retail version from.
I posted a bad review. At 7:30AM the next I was awakened by a stranger asking, Quote:This is Umberto from Tiger Direct, "what would it take to make you go away AND change your online review of us". I got my refund on the OEM version PLUS later found that the motherboard was also defective. Tiger Direct are experienced con artists AND CROOKS. Period.

I have had good experiences with them, although I did notice a lag in the tracking number. I had ordered a LCD monitor and the rebate took forever to show up, but it did get there eventually. The rebate was handled by the manufacturer though so it's not really Tiger's fault. I like them.
