For me I just use one remote.

http://www.ofausa.com/remote.php?type=URC%209960

I have the following setup to work with it:

1.) Toshiba 27" TV
2.) Aiwa Stereo (Really Old)
3.) Harman Kardon DVD Player
4.) DirecTV Receiver

Also, if I have any kind of special functions that I want to use the remote for, I can easily reprogram the remote either using learning on the remote or through a PC.

Just the ATi Remote Wonder for now. (I have a lot of old remotes, but the ATi remote is the one that's actually used.) Wires don't bother me that much for the keyboard and mouse.

Satellite Receiver Remote
DVD Remote(Don't use often)
Stereo Receiver Remote

There are more, but I don't count them as they are never used, as the Satellite is a universal.

2 for 2 TVs (i also use my axim for those though)
1 for PC (ATI Remote Wonder II)

Thats all for me, all you people with more than more than 2 might wanna try a universal remote, or your axim with TV Remote Controller (It can learn Siganls from remotes)

I understand if the remotes use RF instead of IR though. Otherwise Consolidate, make it easy.

Enough Rambling for now...
