U.S. Open of Competitive Eating

Anyone watch that on ESPN 2? Crazy how much they can actually eat in a small amount of time.

I find the Strong Man competitions much more entertaining.

Seeing some guy, that is the size of my car, pull an 18-wheeler fifty feet is humerous.

Yeah, ESPN continues to sell out more and more all the time. I understand that there's only so much you can report on sports during the off-seasons of many games.... but come on now. There's got to be SOMETHING that could be put on that's an actual sport.

Some of the "non sport" sports I've seen on ESPN:
--Obviously this US Open of Comptetitive Eating thing
--Spelling Bee (why is this even on ESPN? Wouldn't it be better fit on PBS?)
--World Championships of Scrabble!! (why, oh why?)
--World Series of Poker (although, I actually watch this, but a sport? :))

Where's Dave Chappelle with his World Series of Dice? :D

You mean eating 6 pounds of baked beans in one minute is not good for you? :D

There is no NHL and the Football (soccer for the heathens) is currently in the off season.

What other sports are there? :)
