Just found this download for XP that mimics Vista's transparency effect on the boarders of the window.

It has Internet Explorer and Explorer.

The Stuff isn't scalable or maximizable(if thats a word) and it's a really really small window(either 640x480 or 800x600 I think its 640x480) but it's in beta so maybe one day.

Its ok...A bit buggy like the maximize doesnt work, and its slow...But when you open it has a nice fade in effect. I am not sure i like the transparensy though...It messes me up ;)

It's still beta so the maximize and resizing doesn't work yet but hopefully will soon.

The transparency thing messed me up too at the beginning but after some use I really like it.

ohhh very very cool find. i will definitely keep my eye on this very closely. FYI: the download includes two .exe files: a regular file explorer(explorer.exe) and the second an internet web browser (iexplorer.exe, what the author calls internet explorer 7)... it looks great too.... ! :approve: :approve: :approve:

I don't remember if I saw something here or somewhere else having something to do with a vista "skin" for ppc. I know that vista may go to ppc but I'm talking about a skin thats out now. I'll try to find it.

K I have done some closeups of the windows. oh by the way the windows(IE,explorer) are 800x600 fyi











Oh and I just noticed that the title is misspelled. I typed Vistal, can any mods change this?
