I upgraded a IDE 80gb to A SATA 160GB. I have no extra to keep the drive in the computer. So I odered a USB2/firewire 3.5/5.25 ext enclosure. I didn't want bother with selling it or letting it sit in the drawer. I was just wondering if this was a stupid idea? I all ways thought you could never have to much drive space.

That is exactly what I did with my old 80GB IBM deskstar too, now its housed in a sleek USB 2.0 ext harddisk case.
In its old place sits dual 250GB 7200rpm Hitachi deskstars in my pc now. :love:
