I just solved this problem on my computer. It started asking me for a .msi file for the trial version of office 2003 that came w/my computer. The darn windows installer will not go away, and everytime you open anything that installs with it, you can't use it.

The fix is to download "windows install cleanup" for microsoft, then use it just to remove the 2003 office trial version. Everything works fine after that. Please post if you've had this problem.

I had never seen this but agin I install full versin all the time. I guess if you were able to find a fix there was a problem. Good finding :approve: and thanks for sharing.
