hello all - i'm in the process of writing a pocket pc database application for PPC 2002/ WM2003/2003SE...if anyone is interested in beta testing my program, please PM me!

it's a stable version, and won't hurt your ppc, although i recommend doing a full backup first...

what i pretty much want is for someone to TRY to crash the program, so i can find the instabilities. i could also use some people to just run it and let me know if it's easy to use, or if there are any problems or spelling errors in the database...

Could you post more info on the database system please? Is it a full db or just an SQL server that other programs access?

it's a local Pocket Access database, accessed using Embedded Visual Basic.

the program is a college course catalog (partial), which gives graduation requirements and information about each course.

it basically takes the data in the database, reads it, and organizes it into a treeview.

when a specific course is selected, it gives a breakdown of the course (description, prereqs, # credits, ect) on the bottom half of the screen.

i'll post a screenshot later, for anyone who wants to see it in action.

What is the point of it? How can we formate other databases to go with this?

there will be a part two, which i will start coding in October, which will allow the user to create their own database. it's a desktop program, which will be written in VB.NET. it will allow the user to edit the database that i have (edit, create, and delete records).
