Does anyone know of any other adapters that support 802.1x besides the Socket card? Is there some software substitute?

I'm tempted to buy the Netgear card at COMPUSA, as it's pleasantly cheap currently, but if they don't eventually make it 802.1x compatible, it's a waste of $ for me.

Anyone know any more about this?

I have heard it said that the death penalty is not enough of a deterrent.
