x50v wireless playlists

hello

i have an x50v connected to my computer by wireless ad-hoc
ive got terminal services to work and can access files on computer (file sharing)

what i want to do is play music on my axim from the computer (stream?) - music on computer but want to listen to music around the house via axim - use like portable mp3 player

so far i can do this by selecting song on computer from axim it plays that single track.
however i want it to select a playlist so it plays several songs
but cant get playlist

hopefully that makes sense?

i think if you make the playlist on the PC with the MP3's then save that playlist and open it up on the X50v it should work. Im sure thats how i did it.

I tried to do this (have the same problem as Asmega), but the file format of the Desktop-created playlist is not recognized by my X51v. I can't seem to open the playlist directly from the network in Pocket Media Player, that's why I open it through Resco File Explorer.

You could find a free file host, upload the .wma files and stream the .wma files from ur pocket pc. Note: .wma and .wmv will stream, .mp3 won't.

Hey while we are all suggesting this may I suggest Orb??

www.orb.com

This is like the coolest program in the world, plus if you have a BT enabled cell phone, and can listen from anywhere. You MUST get a compatible TV Tuner card for your computer as well. That would be sweet (haven't had a chance to try that part yet) Good Luck!!
