Access to Wireless Network/Not wired work network when docked?

Hi,

I have managed to access a wi-fi network set up by the IT department in my firm. I am very happy about this because now I can check my personal e-mail using my axim X-30...our firm blocks any kind of webmail from our desktops.

What I would like to do is leave my axim in it's cradle connected to my work desktop computer with wifi turned on and be able to check my e-mail throughout the day. However, when my axim is in the craddle it wants to connect to my work network and not the wireless network. Can I somehow force it to use the wireless network while in the craddle?

Thanks for any help! - - and if someone has the answer - - very detailed instructions are needed at my end, as it is all a little bit unfamiliar to me, but I am getting by.

Thanks, I was wondering if that might be the case. I will stop trying to find a solution then and just use it out of the cradle.
