Hmm How to keep WEP key settings?

hello all,

sorry if the question has already been asked but I did not find in the forum.

I connect my WM5 Axim x51v (still with first ROM, never had problems) at home via a Linksys BEFW11S4v3 wireless routeur to internet. For security I've enabled a MAC address filtering and a 128 bit WEP key on the router then set the WEP key in Axim and it works fine, I've access to the web, MSN etc...

Nevertheless, after a day of work, I go back at home and my Axim ask me again fot he wep key (quite long to write and not easy to memorize in brain) . Is there a way to keep WEP key settings in the PDA so that I don't have to set it every time I try to connect to the wireless router?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I don't kknow if this will work for a WEP key but it keeps me from entering my t-mobile username and password everytime I connect via bluetooth.

Once you've established a internet connection keep it active and go to settings > connections and go through the setup steps again.

It's worth a try anyway.
