My Ax just hard reset itself, and I have been trying to reinstall everything, including my wifi. I am now able to access the Internet and sync wirelessly, but I cannot get my Ax to recognize my PC for file or printer sharing.

For example, if I type in my PC's name in an explorer type program (e.g., Total Commander) or when configuring my wireless printer settings, it tells me that "A device with the same name is already on the network. Tap Start > Settings > System Tab > About > Device ID tab, change your device name and try again." When I got into Device ID, all I saw was "Pocket_PC" under Device Name and a blank Description.

What should I do?

I've just figured it out. All I did was change "Pocket_PC" under Device Name to something else. It's just like having to change the device name when re-establishing a partnership on Activesync.
