DI-624 and X51 and how I got it to work.
I had firmware version 2.7 on the router and WPA2-Auto, MAC filtering, everything locked down.

Tried changing all the security settings and nothing worked unless I disabled security totally.

I wasn't going to run my wireless wide open so...

I applied firmware version 2.50 with WPA-PSK and all the other security as before and the X51 loves it! Connects right up, stays on, very stable.

So for those of you still having problems, try changing your wireless AP or router firmware to an older version.
