Axim-IR Replacement Query

Hi,

Recently I lost my infra-red remote control for my surround sound speaker system - it was too tiny and it's just gone missing.

I've an X51v and wondered, can I program the IR, using some kind of software, to replicate the controls on the missing remote? Just controls like volume up-down, that sort of stuff.

Cheers,
Stu

Try novii remote. If it doesn't have your codebase, check their forums.

I'm using UltraMote to replace 6 of my remote controls. I also bought their extender.

You can download & try it out first. Our Axim is in their device compatibility list.

Thanks for your help on this one....

.. unfortunately the model I've got (a DK Digital 5.1 channel speaker system) doesn't have a CCF files on the Internet - I've looked everywhere! And, because I've lost the remote, I can't get software to 'learn'.

More than that - I think DK Digital has since liquidated, so I can't pick anything up from them!

So... is anyone aware of software which literally scans through the permutations of IR 'till something happens? Or are there too many permutations of IR for this to happen?

Cheers,
Stu
