I'm using X50v under wm5 system.

firstly, my x50v has no problem connecting to the wifi AP at my home.

but it can't connect to my university's matrix (or cell shape) wifi system.
the symptom is like this: my university's wifi system is built by many Linksys BG wireless routers and the routers are layed out like cell shape, and all routers are under one central controler. so the x50v can always detect 3 routers at the same time, but just 1 wireless network, and it couldn't decide which router to connect. so the x50v kept jumping the status (seen in the "site" tap of "wlan utility") from "scaning network" -> "connecting to network" -> "connected to network" -> "scaning to network" ... so it just can't connect to my university's network.

but my laptop and my palm can connect to this system, so I believe it is the x50v's wifi driver's problem.

could you help me to solve this problem. thank you!

p.s. actually I tried to contact Dell's support, but they just said that my hardware warranty expired, so they won't help me at all ... could somebody do me a big favor to lend me your x50v/51v's service tag code so that I can get the support? I promise I won't use your service tag to do anything bad.
please help me. thank you

You're able to connect at home. It means there's NOTHING WRONG with your Ax Wifi.

Your Ax tries to re-connect after each unsuccessful attempt. That is normal. Talk to your school & find out the security settings. Most likely, they will be some forms for you to fill in.

You do not need to borrow someone's service tag. It is not a good thing to do.

Study hard.
