BT keeps trying to connect even though it's off?!

Why does my BT keep trying to connect (asks me for the password) like every 5 mins. even though I have BT off? Is there a setting where I can turn this off?

Did you configure your Ax to sync/received emails every 5 minutes?

Any software that use WiFi or BT will turn on the wireless radio if the software has been scheduled. It's just like an alarm clock.

Try to remember what they are.

Constantly trying to connect

I have the same problem!

Can you elaborate on the solution? Is that a "turn off" within Active sync, or is it in the X50 Outlook?

Cheers

I don't have a solution. I'm trying to hint as to why the BT would turn on.

There is no "turn off" in ActiveSync or in your X50 Outlook.

In your X50, if you have POP3 account setup in Messaging, check if you have selected the
Option "Connect & check for messages every". If you've & if you're using BT for Internet connection, then BT will come on. To check that, in Messaging:
1. Select "Menu/Tools/Option".
2. Select the account
3. Click Next 3 times.
4. Select Options
(Option 1/3 screen)
5. Uncheck "Connect & check for messages every"

What do you use BT for?

Don't look for "Turn Off". Think of what you use BT for that involves schedules, reminders, alarms ... time related.

Good luck.
