Aximsitebluetoothicon What is the best bluetooth headset ?

I'm looking for the best bluetooth headset to be used for my phone, laptop, and hopefully my Axim someday. I ordered a Motorola HS850 based on professional reviews. But after reading all the User reviews I'm not even sure I'll open the package (I can resale on Ebay for more if unopened).

Anyway, what do you find to be the best mono bluetooth headset?
1. Wearabiity. Is it snug?
2. Volume. Is it loud enough?
3. Mic. Does the mic echo or pick up unwanted noise? Can others hear you well?

Thanks for any info...

i use the Jabra BT250v. it's black in color, and is the type that sits in your ear, then fits around the back with a small boom mic. as far as fits, it comes with 2 or 3 dif size ear pieces, and a spare of each. as far as stability goes, esp against the kind that just clips onto your ear, it's no contest. this won't fall off! i have aggressively skated thru the city with this on so i can listen to music and still have peripheral hearing and not once has it fallen. my fav feature of it would have to be the vibrate. whenever i receive a call, it gently vibrates- perfect for when im in the car listening to music loudly, and i don't hear it. it also has more than enough volume even to override the music im listening to in the car. as far as clarity, i've never really had a problem with it. only thing is if it's in my right ear, and my phone/pda is on my left, i do get some static. on the other side, however, i can leave my phone in the car and walk into a gas station/market w/o losing signal. i can keep my phone plugged into it's charger w/ the computer and walk clear across my apt into the bedroom (thru 2 walls and a closet) and i can lie on my bed chatting on the phone, with very minimal interference. i have tried 3 dif headsets thus far, and this is by far the best.

Yes, I was looking at the Jabra 250v before you left that message. Everyone keeps telling me to try that one. So, I went ahead and bought one on Ebay 2 minutes ago. I hope it aint a refurb or something. It said "new". I can't wait to get and try it.
I couldn't help but open and test the Motorola HS850. It works pretty good. But I see what everyone means about it being a loose/floppy fit and having problems hearing with it (it just sits againt the ear, not in it at all.) I'll have a lot of fun testing and comparing them. But I get the feeling I'll probably sell the HS850 and go with the Jabra 250v.

I have the HS850 and it hasn't given me any problems at all. The only thing tho that is a con is the rubber thing ripped off very easily. Other than that...don't talk in windy situations!

Easy question.
Buy the Plantronics 665 explorer, nothing compares, especially the 2 way DSP and portable AAA pen sized charger it comes with, if you can find better, share the info :p
If you use Skype as well, this will be invaluable, its awesome. I use mine with my KRZR m1 & X51v...

The cheaper 655 explorer is great too.

Plantronics 510 works great for me. I drive a truck afor a living and tried 3 other brands before I heard about this model. It has 3 different ear pieces and fits very snugly. It also has it's own volume control. In fact, I have to keep mine turned down. It also has a noise cancelling mic, and most people tell me that I am clearer on the headset than on my handset. Hope this is helpful. BTW.....the price on e-bay is below $50.

We've been looking at buying a few jawbones here at work. A couple of the sales guys have seen them in action and say they really do work as advertised. Not the cheapest though - but they look cool :)
