It may be due to PIE (pocket internet explorer) identifying itself as version 3 or something like that. The point is, it shows itself as an older version of internet explorer, and some web pages won't let you enter. You need to download the program RegKing. It allows you to change the version that PIE identifies itself as, and then most sites will let you see them.

It that isn't the problem, I don't know what to tell you. Sorry.

Cool internet explorer

Hi italianmafia2k3,

I have the same problem too. Have you try using Regking? Does it solve your problem?

I have the exact same problem as you guys. Using D-link CF wireless card and MR814 wireless router. It sees the router ok and the signal is good though.

installed the d-link drivers. My problem is that the MR814 is not assigning an IP to the pocket PC! I manually have it assigned, but it still doesnt work.

i had the same problem, however, a kind member by the name of stevenrp solved my problem...
you have to set the dns as well as a static ip...

also, when trying to access the internet, try connecting to www.google.com, by typing the following in the address bar:

http://216.239.39.99/

that fixed it for me

best of luck to you all

put in my own dns server (hadn't read your post yet) , took out card for the first time and put it back in... IT WORKS! too cool! I dunno whether it was taking it out, or it was the dns, but whatever works. Will narrow it down later.

Dear all,

I am still having the problem with the internet explorer.

Error message: "The page you are looking for cannot be found"

Tried:

1) the Regking but no avail.
2) different combination of the settings but still get same response.

I hope to avoid a hard reset. Any other ways?
