Hi fellows, i need some help, I'm trying to connect my Axim x51 with a windows XP PC eqquiped with an usb bluetooth from belkin. Blenkin installs a disgusting app in my PC which does not let me use the XP bluetooth app (and all the usefull guides here, unfortunatelly) . The only ports that it let me use are 23 and 26, however in the ppc the only outgoing ports shown are 6 and 7 AND :realmad: in AS the only ones are 1 and 3???

I am in the same boat. I cannot use the XP driver either, only the driver software that comes with the USB bluetooth. Just plugging in the USB bluetooth and having XP search doesn't work.

ActiveSync is not one of the profiles on the PC, and Serial Port does nothing with WM5.

My questions on the matter go unanswered everywhere, and I've scoured the internet for tricks. None of them worked. And the dongle manufacturer hasn't updated their download in a year.

There is a list of compatible bluetooth devices that XP SP2 has drivers for. I may compare that list against cheap devices currently for sale, and just ditch my old BT dongle.
