Sharing between two PPCs
My wife just got me a CF GPS for Father's Day (She loves me) and I love it, however, in using the GPS, I have had to give up my 2GB CF card that I had been using for music.
I have another PPC - an iPaq hx2410...
I would like to somehow rig the iPaq up with the CF card, and share the music via either BT or WiFi to the Axim X50v. It seems like it should be easy enough to do, but I am having some trouble. If I explore the iPaq via BT, I can only see the internal memory of the unit, not the CF card. I have not been able to get an ad-hoc wifi network going to do it that way either.
When making recommendations, please keep in mind that I do not want to spend any money on this at all what so ever. I already have the two devices, I have a USB power supply in the car, I have the CF, etc. I want to make this work between the two if possible - and if possible, I would like to make it QUICK and EASY to get to the shared files without a lot of monkeying around so that I can open my media player on the Axim and immediately, or a close approximation of immediately, browse the files on the CF card and start playing. I recognize there there will be a certain latency, but I don't really want to have to click through a dozen menus if at all possible.
Thanks for any suggestions or pointers on getting either the BT PAN or WiFi ad-hoc wlan going.
