WM3 vs WM5 Bluetooth
For a couple of months I have been using an X-30 w/WM3 to communicate with a serial-enabled device via a Bluetooth "Air-Cable" RS-232 adapater. Works great.
I have recently acquired a new Recon (a ruggidized PPC) that came loaded with WM5. I'm having difficulty connecting to the BT-RS232 adapter with the new device.
I've noticed that the BT-pairing process is different between the two OS's and that WM5 won't allow for a non-passcode connection. So I reprogrammed the adapter to accept a security passcode (still works with the Ax-30).
With the new PPC, I can now get some connection, but only if I delete the BT pairing and start over from scratch every time. Then if I turn off BT and later turn back on again, the only sure way to geth through is to set up the pairing again from scratch.
I never had to do this before with the AX-30/WM3 combination.
Is this where the Widcomm driver stack comes in?
