Just installed my SKY router and my X50v isn't asking me to put in a key. I have tried both WEP and WPK in the router but when you go into the dell WLAN util and select the SKY router and select connect it just sits there saying connecting. My dell still can connect to my old router and my Dads and my Mates. I backed up everything did a hard reset and sure enough it asked for a key and worked. So I restored my backup and back to not asking for a key. Is there anything I can do other than start installing ALL my programs and utilities from scratch following a hard reset ?

Had you connected to the network before enabling WEP? I think the prompt to enter the key only occurs the first time the network is discovered. However, you can enter/change it: with WiFi on, go Start, Settings, Connections (tab), Network Cards, tap the name of your network, select the Network Key (tab) and enter it in the appropriate field.
