I see lots of people having problems with dlink 514 router. So do I.
I updated my firmware to 1.03 but still doesnt work.
Here is my question: should I buy a cf wireless adapter or buy a new router?
Would LINKSYS WRT54G work with my X51?

Depends on how you want to use them. If you don't mind keeping your computer open all the time whenever you want to access the internet from your axim then a wifi cf adapter will do (via ad-hoc). I'm just not too sure about how the range compares to wireless routers.

LINKSYS WRT54G works with all my devices.

Linksys Wireless G CompactFlash Adapter for $80.

I think I will get the router.

Good choice. I however also got 2 netgear wireless g adapters for 29 bucks and one trendnet wifi g adapter (32 bucks) so I can network my Axim with different computers. Eg. my friend only has a wired connetion to the internet so everytime I spend the day with them I can share his computer's internet connection via ad-hoc by just plugging my adapter to his computer's usb port.
