After reading many many threads about troubles people are having with their Axims, I just had to post a positive comment. I tried to upgrade to A12 and failed, got a refurb unit, tried again and failed again, after the second refurb unit came with A12 already installed, I had trouble with 802.11B being flakey. I installed the wireless patch and I now have a rock solid wireless connection.
I purchased Motorola Bluetooth HT820 headphones and in spite of comments on this site about skipping, high pitched squeals, etc., I have not had a bit of trouble. I can make them skip if I'm listening to music and try to surf the web using wireless at the same time, but that is not something I usually do. I can also pair the headphones with my Motorola E815 cell phone.
I guess the moral of all this is, if you're having trouble with your Axim, hang in there, sooner or later Dell will patch the patch that broke the patch that was supposed to fix everything.
