Can't access my account at verizonwireless.com

Anyone else having trouble accessing mobile phone account at verizonwirless.com?? I just got my phone yesterday, and registered at the site. It allows me to login correctly, but then I get a message that says the site is having trouble with my web browser. I'm running Internet Explorer 6sp1, so I know that's not the problem. Any ideas??

Guess I'll give it another day or two and contact Verizon if it's still not accessible. BTW, I love my new VX4400!

You need to be a little more elaborate about what happened. Some people know exactly what you should do and other times you are the 1st. Anyway I had to do a soft reset to get things to work properly after awhile.

BD-

You're right, I need to be more elaborate. I can't access the website using my desktop computer/windows xp/Internet Explorer version 6 sp1. I continue to get the message about my browser not accepting cookies. It's not my browser. Just curious if maybe the verizon website is down and someone else had the same problem. Thanks!

ERJRy,

Just checked and I am able to login with no problems. You might want to check your IE settings (options) and make sure that cookies didn't get turned off by accident somehow.

Hope this helps, had same issue...

ERJRy,

:exc: This should fix problem.

In Internet Options, you need to click on the Privacy Tab, Down at bottom click on Edit in Web Sites section(says "To Override cookie handling for individual web sites, Click Edit Button). you will need to type in verizonwireless.com in box and click allow, you should then see verizonwireless.com in the domain section with always allow in the settings section.

:exc: If problem is not fixed then also change the following settings:

On Same Tab(Privacy) in the settings section change slider so it says "low".
On Security Tab click on Internet Icon with globe and make sure the slider is set to medium low.

I am using IE 6.0 with windows 2000, Win2000 had problems with encryption level, pretty sure it is fixed in WIn XP. To check this In Internet Explorer go to Help menu and click on About internet Explorer....Cypher strength should be set to 128-bit(If not you will need to find patch on microsoft site.
