Using Bluetooth Razr Phone as Modem for PDA

I'm a new Sprint customer and owner of a Razr V3m. I've spent all day looking for a way to browse the internet from my Pocket PC (Dell Axim x51v) through a bluetooth connected Razr (Sprint non-Power Vision unlimited package).

I've scoured the following websites all day: http://www.howardforums.com, http://www.sprintusers.com , http://www.hacktherazr.com , and am now here with no luck. Apparently others have succeded by dialing #777 to use the Phone As Modem feature, but so far that's not working for this Razr.

I followed Cingular specific directions and was successful in pairing and browsing with a friend's Cingular Razr phone, but unfortunately I'm on Sprint.

So...Any suggestions on how to use a bluetooth Razr/Krzr as a Modem on Sprint? I'm new to this digerati extravaganza but trying to learn. Thanks.

it should be just #777, that is what I use on my sprint card

Make sure that the axim is setup correctly to browse the internet using that connection

Do you have the Phone as Modem (PAM) plan? I've learned that these are fairly new plans and start at a minimum of $40/mo. on top of your normal phone rates.

From other sites it appears as if some phone are still allowing you to connect just by dialing #777, others for some reason are being denied. Reference http://www.sprintusers.com/forum/sho...d.php?t=115067

Still searching for a way to make this happen, thinking of taking back the Razr and trying a different phone.

I have the wireless sprint card (pcmcia) for my Work laptop

to set it up via a DUN connection, I only gave it the number #777 with no other settings.

do you have the pairing between the ax and the razr correct... using the dialup profile?
