Hi all. Can anyone tell me the reason the following scenario took place for me?
I had my router encryption set to "WPA personal", and all worked fine on my Axim.
My daughter has a Nintendo DS, so I tried to get it using it's internal wifi. It does not work on "WPA" and needs the router's encryption to be set to "WEP".
After changing to WEP, and getting new Keys to connect, my axim would connect
but after a few second tell me that the Key is incorrect, and it would pop up the screen to enter my valid key. It did this constantly, every time i entered the correct key, it would get this error.
I finally went back to the "WPA", and all is fine. I plan on just turning off the security feature on the router when my daughter wants to play with her Nintendo on the internet. Any suggestions?

WEP and WPA are two different encryption methods and intuitively they don't talk to each other just like two people speaking Chinese and English.

Since DS doesn't speak WPA and axim support both WEP and WPA, you may either make your axim to work with WEP (which is less secure) so that both the router, DS and axim speak WEP, or use no encryption at all.
