is there a way to figure out a wep key to a wireless point with out knowing any information for it. i had the internet saved on my laptop and then i switched computers and now i cant remember the wep key. it costs money to retrieve the information and i dont want to pay extra.

If you don't remember the key, just change the key on your wireless point.

You should really take it up with the people that run the AP. Why would they charge you money for the WEP key??

sounds fishy to me. just reset your router to factory defaults. If it's not your router, then either ask and pony up or shame on you.
