Can anyone out there point me in the right direction? I need something that shows all the wireless networks in my range and then can let me connect to one of them. I am surprised how difficult this has been for me. Thanks for any help!

also, you shouldnt be going around trying to connect to every open netowork you see (if thats what your trying to do). if you want internet access that is fine, but you need to pay for an ap and dsl service if you dont already have it.
Thanks for the prompt reply! :) I am going to college and I would like to use my PPC on campus but would like a user friendly sniffer. I used to use Pocket Boingo, but it is somewhat buggy and is frustrating at times. I agree with you though, stealing from others is wrong.

The link to Hitchhiker is no good its been dead for a few years The fellow that developed the software (Hitchhiker) has sense left for Redmond Washington so I hear I my self have been trying to find if somebody my still have a copy maybe zipped down. from what I have found out it a fine tool for trouble shooting problems on your own equipment. It should be for personal use ONLY good luck........
i think it was wififofum that i tried a while ago. is it the one that shows a "radar"like screen with the wifi spots plotted on the "screen"???
