looks like Dell now do an Axim with built in wireless communications as well now, so drivers must be around somewhere?

im not sure if its bluetooth or WiFi though, didn't look.

SnellGrove, to your point, I have the BT side of the Axim working OK.

I used the WIDCOM drivers after learning that the Dell BT card is a Phillips OEM for Dell and the same as the Belkin, WIDCOM etc

I am probably posting in the wrong forum because I suspect the problem is a ActiveSync setup issue.

However, thank you DougProcter & SnellGrove for your respones.

A pleasure, sorry it doesn't work, the drivers will be out eventually. I'm really amazed that Dell never got them out though, must have forgot about them!
Regards

Stange.....
The link above last night took you straight to the file for downloading, now it takes you to the US Dell home page where choosing the download page doesn't appear to work!
Did anyone manage to get this file or has it been taken away?

Go to the Dell site of Australia, as they 12+ hours ahead of most of us. It is available there.
Hope this helps :-)

Thanks Kevin,
That link gives you about five download locations, I have tried all but the http download and they all report file unavailable. I can't try the http one as my gateway setup stops downloads.
Have they really pulled this download off already?

Can anyone get Activesync to work over bluetooth though?

How do you configure it on the Axim using the new driver?

Unfortunately, in my frustration at not being able to use Bluetooth after upgrading to Mobile 2003, I sold my Axim and got an Ipaq with Bluetooth built in. I am trying to get the file for the guy who bought my machine.
The type of dongle you use with the Axim was the bit where I kept having problems. It would recognise the device, pair etc but report their were no services available. Also the COM port setting and trying to match them on the laptop and the Axim never seemed to match. I tried four different dongles with four different Bluetooth Managers, all to no avail.
I bought a Belkin USB PDA dongle yesterday and setting up this with my Ipaq was an absolute dream. It's all wizard driven, you can't make mistakes and I was up and going in about a minute! Perhaps getting one of these might solve a few problems.
Months of hell over!
What sort of problems are you having?
Regards
