I've looked through the forum and can't see the answer I'm looking for.

I have a Nokia 6610 cell phone, capable of WAP and GPRS data handling. It has a modem built in and can (apparently) connect my laptop to the internet.

The question is.... Can I use my Axim, linked via IR to the Nokia to send and receive e-mails, or access WAP sites or even normal internet sites. I have tried to set it up, and as far as I can tell everything is configured correctly, however, the Nokia will dial the ISP number then hang up immediately. The ISP number is not the same as the number the phone dials to access WAP (without using the Axim).

I'm sure this must be possible. Any help would really be appreciated.

I have the same question here. Has anyone tried this combination yet?

I wonder even after the connection is made through IrDA if it is usable or just too slow.
