My setup: Axim x51v, BlackBerry 8800

My problem: I've paired the x51 and BB, set up the connection. When I launch PIE, the x51v dials up & connects but PIE/Email returns nothing (PIE is stuck on 'Locating').

As the BT DUN has connected, I think it a config problem on the x51. I've seen others that were able to connect but got no internet/email but I've found no solutions posted/

any ideas ?

Did you set up your network connections for bluetooth? Start/settings/connections/connections/advanced tab select networks there you should have selections for Bluetooth settings. If not you need to add them. I call mine “Bluetooth Work Settings” and I set it up to connect to “work” instead of internet. That is a carry over from Ihiker’s advice for wifi set up. You also may need to edit them to be sure that your phone is selected as an existing connection. In that same window, you may need to edit your phone connection to be sure that the selected modem is Bluetooth dialup modem and then be sure that phone number for connecting is correct. With my phone there is no pass word for connecting. I have had to add an extra dial string in the advanced section. The string you may need to use should be available from Blackberry.
