Bluetooth Headphones: strange pitch shifting problem
Hi -- I've got an Axim X30 high (with the A06 ROM and the HP Bluetooth Stereo Headphones Driver Update installed) and I'm trying to use a set of Bluetooth headphones to listen to music. I've no problem connecting, and the sound starts out fine. But for some reason, after about 15 seconds of playing, the pitch starts to gradually go up. After a minute, the music is about a quarter tone sharp, and eventually may get almost a half step high.
This problem happens with many different types of Bluetooth headphones -- the Jabra BT 620s, the Motorola s9s and the Motorola HT820s. The problem is not directly with the headphones -- they sound fine with music transmitted via non-Pocket PC transmitters. And I've found one set of bluetooth headphones which don't have this problem: Logitech FreePulse. However, the FreePulse occasionally skips ahead in the audio (which none of the other headphones do), and I wonder if that might be connected to the same problem.
I can't find any documentation about this problem anywhere online. Can anyone offer any insights or suggest a fix?
Thank you!
Alan
