Another possibly stupid question! I have just setup my Dell TrueMobile Bluetooth CF card to ActiveSync with my laptop and it works. I noticed when looking at COM ports that four were utilised by Bluetooth, one for LAN, one DUN, One Serial and one other.
Since then, or it's a coincidence, I am having trouble with a Canon Multipass USB printer "losing" the driver for a few seconds then coming back. I can actually watch it appearing and disappearing in the Device Manager on XP.
Would the Bluetooth COM port settings affect the USB settings on the printer? One COM Port for the Serial Profile is set at COM3, can't remember the others.
This is really a frustrating problem, so much so, I've already formatted my laptop and re-installed most of the software.
