Question Socket Question

No one seems to want to answer this question on the Socket Forum so I thought I'd ask here. Is it possible to turn off the card while the Axim is on and the card is connected, or, even better, shutoff the Socket program that runs the card so I can load PocketWarrior by itself (PocketWarrior will run with this program on but it just sits idling)? I've tried every menu I can think of and there doesn't seem to be any "off" or "shutdown" option anywhere. Thanks...

That's a good question. Though the simple solution is just pull it out. However, I'm sure you have your reasons. I'll fiddle with mine and see if I come up with something.

Not quite sure if this is what you are looking for but...

If you want to turn off a wireless card, you could go to Start->Settings->System->Power->Wireless and pick "wireless signals off".

This is in WM2003, have no idea if it's possible in WM2002.

But if you want to disable a program that is running for your Wireless card, try PHM Task Manager (http://www.phm.lu/products/PocketPC/taskmgr.asp) and end the process from there.

I have no idea if this helps :)
