Hmm Slow web page loading via wireless?

Set up my new Ax advanced yesterday and today installed and setup the Dell TrueMobile 1180. It found my network fine and I was connected in about 10 minutes.

My complaint (question) is why web pages take so long to load (1-2 minutes). I'm using a cable modem setup 11mbps and my laptop loads pages instantly it seems.

I checked the monitoring software included with the TM1180, signal is excellent, and the test sequence shows data at 11mbps. So as far as I can tell the "network" is fine.

Am I expecting too much, or am I missing a setting somewhere?? I know the Ax is no laptop in terms of power but if this is as good as my wireless experience is going to be, I am going to be greatly disappointed.

My Ax is running PC2002.

There are other posts on this, try using the search feature. In summary though it's an issue with PIE on 2002, 2003 is better.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better. Even the aximsite front page takes only take about 20-30seconds to fully load for me on PPC2003.

I checked the processor power use settings and found that it was running at only 200mhz, so I changed that (found that tip somewhere here) so that it runs at 400 all the time.

I also updated ROM yesterday from A02 to A03 and the combination of both things sped things up noticeably.:D

Here it is, the summary is somewhat confusing because in one place it says A01 and the other place A03. I got the link from somewhere else on this site, hope you have DSL or broadband, file size is 27mb -- it is definitely the A03 file though.
