if you have a wifi card for your axim and another computer on the network, you can view and control you pocket pc on the computer!!!!!

Works great, just install this download

it installs on your pc and pocket pc

next start the program on your computer
it is just a blank screen for now

next start the program on your pocket pc and click connect enter your computers network name how it appears in network neighborhood and then hit ok. now on your computer it should show the pocket pc screen and what ever you do on it

you can also control your pocket pc and use you computer keyboard

(makes setup of connections easy)

To be totally honest I cannot think of too many uses unless demoing an app from the PC.

Still, works ok and can't complain about the price! :)

I did exactly that:
Downloaded remotedsp.exe
Ran it on my PC - the hourglass appears for a few seconds then goes away.
That is all that happens. It does not seem to install nor can I find it anywhere to run.

Any ideas??? Didger

Did it not go through an install process?? What OS are you running?

No install, just the hour glass for a few seconds.

You don't have to by synced.. Only when you acutally install to the PPC. If you run the install when not synced it will just ask you to install it next time you connect.

That's on my planet anyway.

Actually you don't :) You need to be sycned to isntall it but afterwards you can run it without have AS running.. It just uses TCP/IP :)
