Hi, I am new to this forum and getting ready to buy an Axim and saw that the Ambicom WiFi card was recommended and had a good price. Can anyone tell me a good place to buy one. I was originally going to with the Dell TrueMobile but after reading some posts I decided against that plan.

Will this card to external WiFi in addition to 802.11b? By external I mean outside internet connections like a Starbucks etc..

I got mine at bestbuy. It wolks with the ppc2003 os. I'm not too Sure about the thing about Starbucks, but can be in my backyard with it , unheard of with my old Dell TM. I'm actually on my PDA with PPC 2oo3 and the ambicom, just install thewindows CE 3.0.

Thanks, from what I have read it looks like it works with an Internet connection on s public network. I think I'll give the Amicom a try.

yea-- there's an ambicom CF card at the best buy here-- one opened item one for $62 and 2 regular, non-opened ones. myself, i ordered a DLink 660w.. i guess we'll see what happens
