The LinkSys WCF12 CF wireless card is going for $30 after a rebate. LinkSys's site says the following about the drivers:

To support most common PDAs using WinCE3.0 and the following
chipsets: SH3, MIPS, ARM7, SA1100.


Will the drivers work with Pocket 2003??

Don't know about 2k3 but it works great with 2k2. I went out and got one, can't beat the 30 dollar price after rebates. Anyway I also have a Sandisk 128+ and haven't got it to connect yet. I use it for an expensive memory card. Anyway to make a long story short, the Linksys connected first time, doesn't slow the system down, and surfs the web with great speed. Pages load quick. The propaganda that comes with the card states that it will with with WinCE 3.0 and greater so I hope that means 2K3 so I can use it when I get my copy.:)

There is a beta available for the Linksys WCF12 WM2003 driver. There is also a workaround using a 3rd party driver.

I currently have a Zcom XI-825 CF Wireless card that works fine with my Axim and Pocket 2002. I have 2003 on order (Christmas is coming. Maybe so is the Dell version of Pocket 2003!!)

Anyway, I want to be prepared. If there is a good bet that my current XI-825 will not work with the current drivers and that there will probably be no 2003 drivers available for it, I want to shop for a replacement card.

Has anyone come across a list of CF Wireless cards that have drivers for 2003 and will work with an Axim with Pocket 2003???

CompUSA, it's 30 dollars after rebates, 69.99 at the register. You can order it online at compusa.com or go to the store. If you have a store in your area you can go to the website and see if they have them in stock before you go.

drez84 - can you post the rebate form? I just checked compusa.com before they disable the site for inventory update. When I clicked on the link for rebate, it didn't load.

I checked the Linksys site but there's no rebate for WCF12.

I went to the store and bought it. The rebate will print w/ the receipt.

Sure. 15 threads down there is one titled WCF12 Beta Drivers WM2003. Also shows up with a search :)
