I remember reading somewhere that orinoco makes the Dell 1180 CF wireless card. I've heard that people bad range on it so I'm thinkin of switching to a D-Link or Socket... however, we all have heard about how using a D-Link CF card and installing the intersil drivers makes it have a much better range. Would the same work if I installed Orinoco Drivers on my true mobile? anyone tired this?? I want to be able to sit out by the pool and cruise the net, and can't do that with the true mobile. Thanks!

apprently I didn't do my homework, I noticed that orinoco's website doesn't even list a CF wireless card so theres a flaw in my theory.

I know that Orinoco makes the TrueMobile pcmcia card.....not sure about the cf card though. I do know that they're not made by the same company though....so it's not an Orinoco card.
